Becky Crouse

Becky’s Bio:

Becky has been interested in the birth world for 15 years now.  She has a B.S. in biology and a background of teaching elementary and high school science that turned into learning about birth.  In 2015, Becky finally completed her certification as a birth doula and has since enjoyed supporting families as they welcome their babies into the world.  Becky loves to support her clients however they need support; whether that be in the hospital, birth center or at home, having an unmedicated birth or a planned c-section.    Besides keeping her birth doula certification current, Becky has also expanded her knowledge by attended a Spinning Babies Workshop and a Holding Space for Pregnancy Loss training.  She also learned through her own pregnancy experiences how to support a client suffering with Hyperemesis Gravidarum.  Becky is a firm believer in the empowerment that comes from being educated about the various aspects of pregnancy and childbirth, and she loves to help her clients feel that way too.  In addition to her birth work, Becky is also experienced with cloth diapering and babywearing.  Becky has called South Florida home for over 6 years now, and when she’s not busy being a wife to a wonderful husband and a mom of 3, she enjoys gardening, reading, spending time with friends, and trying a new recipe or baking sourdough bread.
