Becky Crouse

Birth Doula & Childbirth Educator

Becky’s Bio:

Becky has been passionate about pregnancy and birth for more than 15 years. With a B.S. in Biology and a background teaching both elementary and high school science, her love of learning and education naturally grew into a deeper interest in the birth world. In 2015, Becky completed her birth doula certification and has since had the privilege of supporting families as they welcome their babies.

Becky loves meeting each family where they are and providing individualized, nonjudgmental support throughout their birth experience. She is comfortable supporting families in hospitals, birth centers, and homebirth settings, as well as through unmedicated births, births with an epidural, inductions, and planned cesareans.

In addition to maintaining her birth doula certification, Becky has continued expanding her knowledge through a Spinning Babies Workshop and Holding Space for Pregnancy Loss training. Her own experience with Hyperemesis Gravidarum has also given her a unique understanding of the challenges families can face during pregnancy. Becky strongly believes in the confidence and empowerment that come from being informed about pregnancy and childbirth, and she loves helping her clients feel educated, prepared, and supported in their choices.

In addition to her birth work, Becky is experienced with cloth diapering and babywearing. She has called South Florida home for more than nine years. Outside of doula work, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and children, gardening, reading, gathering with friends, trying new recipes, and baking sourdough bread.
